With exams done and university finished until October i’m free for the summer to blog, sew and craft to my hearts content and share it with you! Father’s day is just round the corner so I thought I would trawl the internet for crafts you can make for your dad which will look sophisticated and unique. I know that whenever you search Father’s Day crafts you get every craft under the sun suitable for children who love paint, colouring, cutting and sticking. While this is pretty cute when you’re a child, adults should be able to make father’s day presents too don’t you think?!
I’m going to start with cards and there are a lot of different instructions out there which I recently found while looking for brownie crafts for Father’s Day but I thought I might give some of them a go and share them with you at the same time!
Shirt and Tie card
I think this is quite a cool card and should be relatively simple to make. You could even match the colours to a favourite shirt/tie!
I have never seen a card like this before but it looks pretty clever and will definitely impress! The pockets could be used to present a gift (voucher etc) or a very small present! While there isn’t a set of instructions it should be pretty simple to make, if you do make it i’d love to see a photo! (Source: Kimberly @ flickr)
These would make a very memorable father’s day present and while there aren’t instructions i’m hoping the photos will provide you with inspiration to make something unique and different!

Unfortunately there aren’t any instructions for this one but I would imagine it should be fairly simple and will definitely be a talking point of the house! (Source: ArtStack)

This is easily adaptable and you can put any word/words you like on the frame! Instructions here!

This is 100% customisable from the size to the background to the words! If you’re stuck for a present this might be the answer and it will be quick and cheap to make!
I hope these projects have provided you with some inspiration of crafts you can make for Father’s Day this year! Let me know if you end up making any of the above!
